REF. INTERNATIONAL GOODS TRAFFIC AND COVID-19
Transitex, in the face of the international scenario that is plaguing the world, would like to inform that we are doing all that is possible to reduce the risks with regards to the offices, workforce, suppliers and customers, without impacting the transportation of cargo and customer service.
It should be noted that Transitex, regarding its employees, continues to provide preventive guidance on Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and that the Contingency Plan is in place, in accordance with the guidance of the health authorities and applicable hygiene rules, both in terms of work as at home.
We warn that, according to the WHO recommendation on COVID-19 and international freight traffic, in general, any restrictions on cargo handling by government entities are ineffective, in most situations, and can still have negative social and economic effects in affected countries. We follow WHO recommendations; however, we are conditioned by the governmental measures adopted in each country.
Our team remains at the disposal of all our customers, to assist in the applicable solutions and in the cases that require complementary measures due to government actions and/or sanitary restrictions that may be imposed before, during or after the contracted international freight service.
Transitex is aware that the next few days, or even months, will not be easy, but we have a global team committed to maintaining continuity of services and to the well-being of everyone involved in the logistics chain. We are proud of our team!
