  • Transitex is a global logistics operator specialized in door-to-door transport, with an extensive range of offices and a strong network of agents in most of the key world markets.
    We are looking to attract a talented Sales Executive in Miami to support our growth strategy.
    The primary responsibility of the Sales Executive is to grow Transitex footprint across throughout the USA market through the acquisition of new customers and through the development of the existing customer portfolio. This position requires a person possessing deep knowledge of USA import and export processes, ideally across both air and ocean freight solutions.

    Main Responsibilities
    – Develop new and prospective customers in the United States;
    – Lead in the preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ’s & quotations with customers;
    – Lead sales campaigns and events in conjunction with Transitex Group policies;
    – Plan and manage personal business portfolio/territory according to agreed market strategy;
    – Respond and follow up sales inquiries and leads using appropriate methods;
    – Client management of allocated customers by using established tools to achieve and exceed targets;
    – Consistent follow up with new clients to Account Management level;
    – Deployment of information about all contracts with customers and suppliers to all parties;
    – Ensure customer requests are completed in a timely manner and at the highest possible service level;
    – Adhere to client service level agreements;
    – Resolves discrepancies, while keeping record of discrepancies;
    – Sales administration: update and maintain all relevant information about customers and sales activity;
    – Monitor competition activity and industry trends;
    – Provide periodic reporting of sales activities.

    Desired Skills and Experience:
    – Bachelor level education and/or commensurate experience;
    – Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in Air/Ocean Freight Forwarding sales;
    – Developed knowledge of special equipment (Reefers, OOG);
    – Proven record of growing business and starting new accounts;
    – High level negotiation skills;
    – Relationship builder;
    – Ability to make quick, smart business decisions and provide solutions;
    – Ability to focus on results, action orientated;
    – Fluency in spoken and written English, with Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills being advantageous.
