Pedro Correia Botelho is the new commercial director for Oporto
Transitex has strengthened its team in Oporto. Yilport’s global logistics operator has appointed Pedro Correia Botelho as Commercial Director for Oporto.
Pedro Correia Botelho joins Filipa Arcos and Marco Magalhães.
Transitex has an office and a team of around 20 employees in Oporto. It also has an area freight department, managed by Filipa Arcos, and a warehouse, managed by Marco Magalhães.
Born in Viana do Castelo, Pedro Correia Botelho began his career in 1985 at the company Orey Antunes, where he was responsible for organising the loading of TIR Carnet trucks at Customs.
In 1991, he joined Keller Maritime, where he worked as a sea clerk, container control and liner on the NDS-Africa line. In 1999, Correia Botelho returned to the Orey Group to manage the Beira office in Mozambique, where he spent three years.
On his return to Europe, he worked as a liner on the Delmas line, now CMA-CGM France.
In 2005, he joined the commercial department of SDV, where he remained for four years.
At the invitation of MSC LOGISTICS SERVICE, Pedro Correia Botelho took over the commercial management in 2015, where he will remain until January 2024.
Pedro Correia Botelho now joins Transitex, which is present in 23 countries and has more than 200 qualified professionals with diverse skills, dedicated to providing exceptional service and value to its customers.
