KPMG presented the 23rd edition of its magazine “The TOP 100 Companies in Mozambique”. Transitex is 62nd in the general ranking and 10th in the Transport & Storage sector.
The study carried out by KPMG for the construction of the various rankings considered data from the country’s private sector during 2019 and 2020.
Founded in 2007, with a team of just 2, Transitex Mozambique currently employs 62 people in an infrastructure that includes 6 offices, almost 10.000m2 of warehouses and a fleet of its own trucks. It has been operating in the Mozambican market for almost 15 years with a local structure that, in synergy with the global Transitex team, has ensured sustainable and consistent business growth throughout this period.
In January 2021, we announced that that would be a year of consolidation of Transitex Mozambique expansion, the company’s big bet for 2019 and 2020. Therefore, it is with great pride that we see the recognition of the investment we have made in this market, particularly after the results achieved in 2020. It was in that year that, for the first time, we achieved a turnover of more than one billion meticais in Mozambique. Against business tendencies caused by the pandemic, Transitex Mozambique still was able to achieve its best results ever in 2020.
Thanks to a team with the necessary technical competence to create innovative and customized logistics solutions, Transitex Mozambique sees its consolidation fully executed. Transitex’s largest branch in Africa serves as an example and guide for the company’s growth on the continent.
